multistorey building with a height of at least 25 metres measured from the lowest exit at or near ground level to the floor of the topmost storey (or eight storeys) and served by passenger lift(s)
The term is flexible. As building heights have increased there is a tendency to use the term for structures over about 25-stories high and use ‘mid-rise’ for those lower than this.
