HB50
mixture of cement and water, with or without the addition of sand, or chemical admixtures, proportioned to produce a pourable liquid without segregation of the constituents
Grout is used in brick cavities to produce grouted and reinforced masonry, and as a key to join together new and old concrete work. Sometimes, grout is used in the consolidation and improvement of foundation materials. Grouting prestressing ducts bonds the tendons to the concrete and reduces corrosion of tendons but it prevents inspection, and makes re-tensioning or renewal much more difficult.
